Tangled Up In Blue Restaurant

We we're blown away with the deliciousness! Kathleen and Jassy we're on point with their attentive, cheerful and caring service. Tangled Up and Blue is not pretentious, (I appreciated our glittery blue table and the sparkly frames). Chef Jeff's creations speak for themselves! We're already planning to go back!

My husband and I come here each year for our anniversary !! We absolutely love the location and the atmosphere. The food literally melts in your mouth. This small family restaurant has better food than high-end restaurants we have been to in the twin cities. We definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for fabulous food and amazing service!!!

Our first time at Tangled Up In Blue and won't be our last. Walked in the door and immediately welcomed by Kathleen and seated. A small intimate space lends to a feeling of a private experience. Menu made it difficult to choose but the beef Wellington was amazing, my husband got the shrimp and ribs, again another thumbs up. Others at our table had the Jambalaya and halibut all 5 star. Kathleen assured we were wanting for nothing and Chef Jeff came to table to meet us. Owned and run by a lovely family and all at our table highly recommend. Call for reservations and be prepared for an experience one would expect at one of New Orleans or NYC finest restaurants. It is a hidden gem that needs to be discovered.

Very interesting place with great service and food. 7 of us dined for a Mothers Day dinner the week after the actual Mothers Day and it was a good experience. The halibut was a nice big cut and perfectly cooked, mom liked her salmon. Kids enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms and Alfredo pasta. Beef Wellington was perfectly cooked as well. Highly recommend.

We had such a great time at Tangled Up In Blue. Right from the start, the service made us feel so welcome, super friendly and personal, like we were regulars even though it was our first time. The chef had some daily specials with little personal touches, which made choosing what to eat even more fun. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, and the portions were large, definitely a place where you leave full and happy. The atmosphere was eclectic in the best way: warm, welcoming, and filled with character. You can tell a lot of thought went into making it a place where people feel at home. Even the bathroom impressed us, stocked with thoughtful touches like flossers, pads, and gum — a small detail that shows just how much care goes into every part of the guest experience here.

This restaurant blew our expectations out of the water. It was one of the best meals we have ever had. We were a little nervous about the prices, as some dishes including the beef Wellington were over 50, but when we got the dishes we immediately said it was worth every penny. The atmosphere was also very fun with neat art pieces and displays. Reservations are a good idea as seating is limited.

Very delicious meal! Had the Beef Carpachio, it was outstanding and the Bananas Foster for dessert was amazing. I recommend this place.

Finally went here to try the Beef Wellington and it DID NOT disappoint myself or my wife. Ordered some Risotto on the side and that was just as delicious! Matter of fact..... EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. We both had to almost be wheeled out, we were so stuffed!!! Reservations are definitely a good idea.
